WEBVTT

00:00.640 --> 00:07.850
Ruth: Sixth meeting. The town showed up angry.

00:08.200 --> 00:12.930
Can’t blame them. The last town never even got a meeting.

00:14.020 --> 00:17.610
Whitfield: You’ve asked me one question for six weeks,

00:17.800 --> 00:20.550
and my lawyers told me not to answer it.

00:20.760 --> 00:23.700
I’m done listening to them.

00:23.760 --> 00:28.100
The tenant is Meridian Compute. That’s the name.

00:28.160 --> 00:31.510
No confidentiality agreement. We tore it up.

00:31.580 --> 00:34.780
The water design, the noise limit, the tariff filing:

00:34.840 --> 00:41.240
it’s all in here, and it’s all public as of nine o’clock this morning.

00:41.300 --> 00:43.650
Dee: Why should we believe a word of it?

00:44.720 --> 00:46.590
Whitfield: Don’t. Check.

00:47.220 --> 00:51.770
Every claim has a number. Every number has a source.

00:52.060 --> 00:59.660
And if one of them’s wrong, I’ll stand right here while you read it to me.

00:59.720 --> 01:03.040
Ruth: First company I ever saw come in the front door.

01:03.100 --> 01:07.350
Didn’t make us fans. Made us counters.

01:07.600 --> 01:11.490
Round here, that’s a bigger promotion than it sounds.
